Finding what you did not look for.
To catch that Autumn's evening glow* I was once again lucky - or is there such an adjective as serendipititious?
(The building is Zionskirche in my quarter of Berlin. A great spot to view the city, if you like to climb the many steps of the church tower.)
Late Summer. A beautiful biketour through Park Sanssouci* in Potsdam.
The sun is shining brightly and the Chinese (Tea-)House in the gardens is shining golden.
One holi-day from Berlin, on tour through the worlds of the many 18th century castles within the park seems like a week of cultural holidays. Worth emulating - that means when spring is back, everything is green again, flowers are blossoming and the air feels balmy while you are cycling.
I wish you a next rainbow soon, which is always a fine reason to pause for marvelling, enjoying the here and now.
Exploring Chicago on a more rainy day, I happen to come across the Chinese quarter:
busy on a Sunday too, many people coming for lunch. And I am honoured to be sitting at an old lady's table, having a complete still, wonderful conversation eyes to eyes about each other's appreciation to share that lunch and that moment together.
And there is this sign on a big wall just opposite - rounding out this quarter's visit. And now it attending your way.
